Spring Accessories

Spring weather is almost here!! I love to change up past outfits by adding a new accessory, it can change the whole look!! I found some super cute accessories at J.Crew Factory and although I wanted to buy them all, I limited them to the following items:

I am loving the bright colors on these necklaces, and I think they are really going to POP! Navy espadrilles are going to be a Spring staple for me, and I loved the little sparkle in these earrings!

I also loved the ladybug detail on these necklaces. And thought the statement earrings were cool in the color navy…

If you have ever looked at the jewelry at J.Crew it can definitely get expensive!! I have found some great alternatives at J.Crew Factory, same quality and great style, but way more affordable!! Check it out!

Guest Room Brainstorm

So now that our basement is finally done, the guest room that I have been using as a storage closet is next on my list… And here is my initial idea board!

I also have a dresser that I am going to paint gray, with chalk paint, and then add the crystal knobs that I attached in the picture above! What do you all think????

Before and After…

For the past few months I have been working with Ratte Construction out of Andover, MA, to finish our basement. I have always had a passion for design – YES, I admit it… I am an HGTV junkie!!! I follow all the shows like Fixer Upper, Property Brothers, Love It or List It, etc.

So, I was excited to finally have a small project of my own in this arena! However, as my contractor Mark once told me, this was actually quite a big project for it to be my first! And I learned A TON!! Here are some Before and Afters…

And here are a few extra photos with more details… I still have some finishing touches, like artwork, that have to go up… But I couldn’t wait to share the final project pictures with everyone!!

This leads me to my big news!!! I am taking everything I have learned over the years from decorating my own home and finishing this basement addition, and I am starting my own Interior Design business. I am partnering with my friend Julie, who has many years of experience working with high-end interior design clients throughout Boston.
